Another Great Controller from Frymaster – the TouchWheel!

Shreveport, LA – August 30, 2021 – Frymaster, a leading Welbilt brand for commercial fryers, is pleased to present its new controller – the TouchWheel will be available to order February 2022. The new creation combines and extends the functionality of two of Frymaster’s existing controllers: the timer controller and the CM3.5, while also providing a more modern design.

The TouchWheel controller offers the flexibility of toggling between a timer mode and a programmed recipe mode that allows users to pick programmed recipes to start a cook, as well as a dual mode. As an improvement over the timer controller, a default time can be set in the TouchWheel, eliminating the need to manually enter a time. This allows for a one button push to start a cook.  If the time needs to be changed, a simple two button push changes the cook time.

This new improved controller displays menu names up to six characters compared to the CM3.5, which did not support displaying menu names. In addition, a USB capability eliminates the cumbersome task associated with programming product recipes on a button-based controller. You can now create on your computer up to 12 recipes and upload them to the controller.
