Manitowoc unveils 2018 line-up of Energy Efficient Ice Machines
MANITOWOC, WI. - Manitowoc, a leading brand for commercial ice makers, has unveiled its 2018 line-up of new energy efficient ice machines.

“We have invested nearly 2.5 years of engineering time and several millions of R&D dollars in what is now Manitowoc’s most energy efficient line-up of ice machines ever made,” said John Myers, Director of Engineering at Manitowoc Ice.

Many of Manitowoc’s classic models have been re-designed and re-classified to exceed the new U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) standards for lower energy usage. Through improvements and redesign in refrigeration systems, more efficient component parts and in some cases more effective and environmentally friendly refrigerant, Manitowoc has developed an impressive new line-up of super-efficient ice machine products across its portfolio.

Several of Manitowoc’s new models qualify for ENERGY STAR 3.0 rebates which allow for consumers to claim rebates from their local energy companies.

In addition, Manitowoc has developed a new generation of cube ice machines with the Indigo® NXT (NEXT) series. Indigo NXT not only raises the bar on energy efficiency but takes simplicity, sanitation and reliability to the next level.
