A tech-tastic start to the year
What better way to kick off the New Year than celebrating tech-focused strategic partnerships? Responding to the ever-increasing demand for digital solutions, Welbilt teamed up with Apex Supply Chain to provide automated contactless pickup lockers for foodservice; partnership with HCL and Microsoft accelerated the development of our KitchenConnect digital platform; and became the exclusive supplier of roll-in blast chillers from Italy-based Nuovair. Now that’s a win-win-win!

Two KI wins in 2021 brought our tally of National Restaurant Association Kitchen Innovation Awards to 41, since the program started in 2005. Our award-winning beverage and ice brands took to Las Vegas to start the summer in style at the annual Nightclub & Bar Show. From all-natural Fresh Blender samples, powered by Multiplex, to Manitowoc’s slow-melting CrystalCraft ice cubes, operators saw first-hand how Welbilt brands help operators raise the bar and serve up the very best beverages - from stunning cocktails to the perfect cold brew!
Healthy eating 101
Six Welbilt brands joined over 140 exhibitors at this year’s School Nutrition Association’s (SNA) Virtual Annual National Conference (ANC). To prepare for getting back to school, our brands showcased how to save on costs and energy while serving up tasty and nutritious meals guaranteed to be a hit with students!

A slice of the action!
Back in the summer, we headed to the 37th annual International Pizza Expo in Las Vegas. What better place to showcase our full portfolio of pizza equipment solutions than the largest pizza industry show IN THE WORLD?! With 1,400 booths and 550 exhibitors, our experts were in good company as they demonstrated how to create the perfect slice. Delicious!
