Decade of Accomplishments

For the tenth year on the trot, we’ve picked up the ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year Sustained Excellence Award! This fantastic award recognizes our long-term partnership with ENERGY STAR, the government-backed symbol for energy efficiency, as we continue to design and produce innovative energy-efficient foodservice equipment. And that’s not all! We strive to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and protect the environment through initiatives and our EnerLogic program.

A huge thank you to everyone at Welbilt who champion energy efficiency! Cleveland, Convotherm, Delfield, Frymaster, Koolaire and Manitowoc Ice. We were proud to take part at the annual awards ceremony in Washington, D.C. on April 11 – let’s see what we can achieve in 2019. 

 

To recap our accomplishments from 2018, Welbilt increased its ENERGY STAR product portfolio by 15 percent across seven brands (Cleveland, Convotherm, Delfield, Frymaster, Garland, Koolaire, Manitowoc). Delfield, showed the most significant increase with 61 new ENERGY STAR certified models. Convotherm increased sales of ENERGY STAR certified combination ovens by 23 percent, specifically targeting K-12 customers with incentive packages, training, demonstrations and a culinary cookbook. And lastly, Welbilt engaged over 1.7ml impressions of trade media educating customers about the value of ENERGY STAR.
